PUBLISHING POLICY

Open Access Policy

Animal & AgriFood Research (AAFR) publishes all research work under an open access paradigm, which is an approach of publishing scholarly work free of charge to the readers. We feel that valuable research should be accessible, readable, shareable and knowledge should be disseminated to researchers, students, academics and other interested communities without unnecessary barriers to access.

01

Free Access to Published Research

All articles published by AAFR are made available online for readers to access and read without a subscription or paywall. The published research may be used for academic study, research, teaching and other legal uses, subject to the conditions of the respective license.

02

Benefits of Open Access

We are open to all and it helps:

  • Increase the visibility and reach of published research.
  • Allow researchers and students to access articles more easily.
  • Encourage the sharing and discussion of scientific knowledge.
  • Support collaboration across institutions and countries.
  • Make research findings available to a wider academic and professional community.
03

Author Rights

Authors have the correct rights to their published material as per the terms of the journal's publishing and licensing agreements. Authors should engage in the responsible sharing of their research and cite the initial publication and adhere to the conditions of the pertinent license.

04

Responsible Use of Published Content

The users are allowed to read, download, cite and share published articles under the applicable license. It is necessary that any use of published material be given proper credit to the original author(s) and source(s).

05

Our Commitment

AAFR aims to have a publishing environment that is accessible and transparent. The journal seeks to facilitate the wider dissemination of research and to promote exchange of knowledge in the field of animal science, agriculture, food science, veterinary studies and related areas through open access.
